Only from the players point of hearing. Plugged in in a mix it sounds the same really.

I meant that I can't believe not too many opinions on this one. Maybe I am the nut case who owns 4 of them and I really should be the one telling instead of asking. Oh well. |

i always just found that the holey ones are louder and 'airer' unplugged compared to the solid top and back ones. always seem to sound the same plugged in, except maybe different feedback capabilities
