Way Huge Pedals

Anyone have anything to say about the new or original Way Huge pedals?
Any favorite pedals? Opinions? Anything?

Awesome: Purple platypus, Foot pig, Tone leper
Not so awesome: Angry troll, Green rhino

Purely based on my preferences and others may disagree.

How do the new Way Huge pedals stack up against the old ones?

I personally like the new reissues except for the cheesy battery compartment. Other than that they really rock.

I still think one of the best ODs I ever owned was the Red Llama. I cashed out on it but wish everyday that I hadn't.

It is certainly one heck of an OD/Boost. The one pedal I think actually competes with the Klon.

Aqua Puss, one of the best "straight forward" (meaning not a lot of extras, like modulation, long delay times, optical/expression pedal controllers, dual stages, etc.) delays ever! Great sounding - lush, yet quiet. One of my main two delays, along with the Great Toneczar Echoczar/Angelbaby. I use the Aqua for the shorter, more slap back stuff and the Echoczar/Angelbaby for the longer, more atmospheric stuff!

Saffron Squeeze, a decent compressor, but there are several better in my humble opinion. My Analogman Bi-Comprossor pushed the Saffron Squeeze to the for sale listings!

Angry Troll, agree with yucatown, not too impressive. It had a nice tone on the cleaner/lower settings, but I did not care for the distorto-tones much and that was more what I wanted it for.

A friend of mine owns an original era Swollen Pickle that he swears by, but with which I'm not too impressed.

Those are all the vintage models I've owned or experienced. I have no experience with any of the new ones.

I love the Fat sandwich, really versatile pedal that can go from mild to uber-heavy distortion.

I'm another fan of the Fat Sandwich, although I thought they were all brilliant shame I had to give them all away

Are they making the Foot Pig again? Please let it be so. I got to play one at a convention and have been wishing for one ever since.

The Foot Pig is like a vintage Fuzz Face with a tone knob.

My favorite Way Huge pedal is the original Swollen Pickle. I like it because it's so gigantic sounding, the bigger the better!
