Sounds really great man, you have some really nice lines. This definitely makes me want to stick with pursuing my jazz studies degree...

Hey Paul,

Great to hear from you!

we go on school break in a week and a half, I'll give you a shout! Hope all is well!! I saw that they are back to doing summer NAMM in Nashville? I'll have to try to get there this summer for sure!

Yeah, I don't hardly get to play with any effects anymore which kinda sucks! I'm still a closet fingertapper though

Shawn do you have any more video from that gig? Love to see/hear some more tunes if you've got the footage!

Hey Jazz2Punk,

If you go to You tube and type in Shawn Purcell there are a few other clips of the Gene Ludwig gig and one show with U of I jazz ensemble...

Thanks!

Noticed you were playin' a Heritage and posted your clips over on the Heritage forum. Hope that's ok!

Hey Jazz2Punk,

That's totally cool with me! I actually worked with Paul C. (of Tim, Timmy fame) at Heritage Amps in Nashville for about a year, where he got me the job and graciously put up with my utter lack of technical knowledge about anything electronic :-) I didn't even realize that the guitar company had a forum, that's awesome!

Thanks as well Hawkeyeinexile, I really appreciate it! Yeah doin' the shake is a tune/big band arrangement of mine, just a fun tune to solo over.

I just got a hd video camera so I should have some more videos in the near future!

Shawn
