[I met Aerosmith at a book signing years ago and have an autographed copy of the saga of the Toxic Twins. It's sad if Steven fell off the wagon

Perhaps the band constantly speculating in the press as to what Steven is or isn't doing isn't the best way to move forward.

These guys are rich rock stars who aren't touring or recording at the moment. How hard would it be to get in a car, drive out to Stevens house, and check on him. Maybe they could see how he is doing and ask him face to face what he wants to do?

I would think that after 40 years of friendship, being in a band together, and becoming millionaires together, that their relationship would be a bit tighter than work-buddies.

It sounds like Steven needs a bit of help. It wouldn't hurt to offer him some.
