Rice Guitar Appreciation Thread

Check out these beauties:

I have no affiliation with Rice Guitars - too bad for me, I bet I'd get a sweet deal - but as a guitar fan, HOLY CRAP!!!

I've never had the pleasure of playing one but they're beautiful guitars and those who own them rave about them.

I know Chris from another site and he and Rich are both great guys too.

Man, that last guitar is exactly what I've been thinking about for my Tele. I'm pretty much a "one guitar" kind of guy and I look for versatilty in my guitar. I'm currently using an HSS strat, and I pretty exclusively use the middle single coil or the bridge humbucker - I also have it setup with single volume/single tone pots. However, I much prefer the "feel' of a Tele to a Strat. I have a nice Tele and I'd love to get it "re-configured" to something similar to that bottom guitar. Maybe I should get in touch with the Rices - I 've heard only good things about them over at TDPRI.

If memory serves, that guitar was built as a custom order... I am sure if you contact them they'll be happy to make your dream a reality

That one was spec'd with and built for a TGP member, maybe he'll chime in.

Those are ABM roller bridges. Very nice craftsmanship from Germany. They roll nicely, and minimize friction when the Bigsby is used. Really keeps the tuning stable, and extends string life. They're pricey, butI love 'em.
